Come get a head start on your porch mixed containers. Now you can plant your own container right in the Garden Store! Bring a pot from home or choose from our fabulous selection of pots and containers.
- Pricing determined by container size:
- 12" and under costs $13*
- over 12" to 16" costs $19*
- over 16" to 24" costs $24** plus cost of plants & soil and container (if the container is purchased here).
With our vast experience with container gardening we can guide you to select and design a beautiful container for any growing condition.
We will share our secret ingredient for long lasting color. You plant the container during the party and we will grow them in the greenhouse until you want the container or Pick up no later then Monday, May 14th. You can schedule a party of your own for 6 or more guests.

Garden Center Open House:
Saturday, April 29th and Sunday, 30th - 9:00am - 5:00pm and 10:00am - 5:00pm

Mixed Container Demonstrations:
Sunday, May 21st runs 10:00am - 10:45, Thursday, May 25th runs 7:00pm to 7:45
Kathy is known for her creative container combinations and she will be sharing her tips and Secrets to basket success. Just stop into the garden center during the demonstration preregistration NOT required.
Early Bird gets the Worm Sale:
Saturday, May 20th, 27th, and June 3rd from 7:00am - 9:00am
On each of these Saturday's we will be opening our doors for the Early Birds. Arrive between the hours of 7 am and 9 am and receive $5 off your purchase of $10 or more.Come in early and shop as long as you like.
Fall Container Demonstrations:
Thursday, August 17th - 5:00pm to 6:00pm
It is a new season. Come Learn how to give your containers a new look for the fall season. Whether it's a completely new container or swapping out plants, Kathy will demonstrate options and recommend seasonally appropriate plants. Just stop into the garden center during the demonstration preregistration NOT required.
Garden Tour, Craft Fair, and Corn Feed:
Sunday, August 20th from 10:00am - 5:00pm
Come visit Mary and Kathy's personal gardens. Fun for the family includes hay ride from the Farm to Kathy's gardens, artists and crafters, the barnyard, and free 1st cob of sweet corn, Kettle Corn, and lemonade. Plus there will be some special one day deals!
Salsa Making Demonstrations:
Saturday, August 25th and 26th at 4:00pm
We are excited to have Mary open up her home and knowledge about preserving the harvest for this Demonstration. Mary will be going through the process step by step from the start of cutting up peppers, tomatoes and onions to the last step of the hot water bath. She will be giving many tips along the way. This event has limit of 20 people each day. The first people to say they are attending on Facebook or call to say they are coming will get the spots. There is a $8 charge per person. It will be worth the money because everyone who attends will take home some salsa from the event. Along with the knowledge to make as much as you need to for the winter!
"Growing TEFFLA at Waldoch Farm":
Thursday, September 14th, 2017, 5:30pm to 8:00pm
Please join community sponsors and TEFFLA board members as we raise at least $40,015 to award grants for inspired educational opportunities in Forest Lake Area. For more information about this event and TEFFLA go to www.teffla.org.
Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze
Starts Saturday, September 23rd and runs through October 31st
- *We take cash, checks or credit card payment
- *Children under the age of 11 must be accompanied by an adult at all times
- *Sorry, no dogs allowed
Flashlight Night in the Corn Maze:
Friday, October 13th and Saturday 14th until 10pm
Last entry to the Corn Maze at 9:00pm
One Weekend Only, no Fright only Fun bring a Flashlight.
Make it a date night! The Sunset is around 6:00 pm, so bring a flashlight. After 7pm a Corn Maze wristband will be required for all guests at Waldoch Farm for the special event.
Fall Fun during MEA Break:
Hay Rides and Food are Open
18th, 19th, and the 20th 10am – 7pm
Last entry to the Corn Maze at 6:00pm
We treat all three days of MEA Break like a weekend at Fall Fun! You can try to win a candy bar at Corn Cannon. Our delicious food will be cooking for you! The hay ride to the pumpkin patch will be running on a limited schedule. On Wednesday the hayride will be running about every hour and a half starting around 10:30. On Thursday and Friday the hayride will be running on an hour rotation. During MEA our guests include Field Trips. This means that the farm will be shared with school groups. The field trip hay wagons will only be for the scheduled class or group.

Our delicious food will be open! Corn Cobs can be shot from the Corn Cannon too! One of our hay rides will be running for our guests every 1 to 1.5 hours. Some of the Hay Rides are just for field trips.
