Growing Locally since 1916. Come pick your own vegetables! Whether it's for a batch of salsa, just enough for dinner, or a sampling of our wide variety of crops - come pick your vegetables with us! Venture out to Waldoch Farm and see where food is grown while it is growing.

Waldoch Farm has won the hearts of canners throughout Minnesota. Offering vegetables at Grandpa's Roadstand since the 1920's, and Pick-Your-Own vegetables since the 1980's, people have come to us to supplement their backyard vegetable gardens with our own 30 acre backyard garden of local, fresh vegetables. Vegetables can't get much fresher when you pick them yourself. Field typically opens mid-July and runs thru Mid-September

Produce Access Fee

$5 per person
This fee is only good for access to pick produce. Does not inculed Joyer Adventure Farm's acres of play.

Come for Pick-Your-Own Produce and Stay to Play on Zoom Mountain, Low Ropes Course, the Playhouses, Tug-o-War, Hook the Ring, Wooden Play Sets, and the Farm Dig Sandbox.

Pick Your Own Produce: Details

Pick Your Own Produce is a featured activity of Joyer Adventure Farm.
It is always wise to call the farm before your visit to check for produce availability (651) 780-1207.
Field Hours: Thursday – Sunday 10am to 5pm, Last entry to field at 4 pm
Check-in south of the Garden Center at the entrance to Joyer Adventure Farm
Tickets to Joyer Adventure Farm includes access to pick-you-own produce
- OR - Purchase a Produce Access Fee Ticket to pick-you-own produce
Harvesting Season - produce starts to be harvested in Mid-July and crops availability will vary
Weather Permitted - produce season may end early depending on frost and other weather conditions
Produce sold separately by weight or quantity
Produce Fields are closed Monday – Wednesday. By limiting the number of days we offer, pick-your-own gives the fields time to ripen after the busy weekends

Field Rules for Pick Your Own
No customer vehicles will be allowed in the produce fields. Parking is 600 feet away
Credit Cards are encouraged
Wash your hands before and after picking
You pick it you buy it
No eating produce or other food in the fields
No Smoking
Avoid touching things unnecessarily
Sorry, no dogs allowed
For food safety, Customers are not allowed to bring their own containers into the field.

Pick Your Own Produce: Pumpkin Patch

In the Fall you can Pick Your Own Pumpkins at Waldoch Farm as a part of Joyer Adventure Farm Admission. The pumpkin patch will open late September as an activity of Joyer Adventure Farm. There is typically pumpkins, squash, gourds, mums, kale, corn stalks, hay bales, ornamental corn and much more in the Garden Center by the week of Labor Day.
