Sunflower Festival at Waldoch Farm has been reimagined into a U-Pick Sunflower Field and Walk
The sunflower field is an additional activity for Joyer Adventure Farm.
For 2021 we have planted the sunflower field to bloom in late July ending on September 26th.
We are going to presale time slots to enter the fields through Joyer Adventure Farm. The $14.99 ticket will include access to the field, Hay wagon ride and 1 flowers U-pick flowers to take home. Along with all the acres of play that come with Joyer Adventure Farm Like Barnyard with Farm Animals, Low Rops Course, Zoom Mountain, the Playhouse, Tug-o-War, Hook the Ring, Wooden Play Sets, and Farm Dig Sandbox. The ultimate photo opportunity! We are planting a large Sunflower field for peak bloom in August.
Waldoch Farm Garden Center’s love of flowers and nature has spilled over into a 6 acre field of gorgeous sunflowers! Come and walk through 10's of thousand blooms spreading down the hill like liquid sunshine, with photo opportunities, and U-Pick sunflower areas to take home a handful of summer for yourself.
The U-pick Sunflower Field and walk will be an awe inspiring way to experience the wonders of nature and agriculture. We have seeded six full acres of sunflowers an area of around six football fields, with 150,000 seeds to create this beautiful strolling landscape. U-Pick Sunflower Field and Walk. In the back forty of Waldoch Farm. There will be a hayride that will pick up in Joyer Adventure Farm and transport you back to the Sunflower Spectacular.

As farmers we know mother nature can vary the peak bloom, it could be a little earlier or later depending on weather conditions. Since we won’t know the exact timing until we begin to see the blooms, it is important to check back here, on our facebook page, and sign up for our newsletter to see when full bloom is arriving!
There will be a section to walk through for pictures, and U-Pick sunflower stem field with 10s of thousands of sunflowers to wade through in search of your own perfect bloom. After (or before) exploring the sunflowers and choosing your perfect flower, taking tons of photos, and enjoying the beauty of nature. After your hayride back from the sunflower field, stop in at the Garden Center for one of our famous hanging baskets or some fresh, picked daily, and vegetables from Grandpa’s Roadstand.
- Ticketing is limited and MUST be purchased online to guarantee admission to the event.
- NOTE: Sunflowers are an agricultural crop and therefore subject to weather, growing conditions, and ripening variables. We cannot guarantee that the sunflowers will bloom on a particular date, so prepare to be flexible with your visit. Stay tuned on Facebook for up-to-the-minute plans. The event is an outdoor event and therefore held weather permitting.
- Should a complete crop failure arise or complete rain out occur, tickets will be exchanged for a different event or time for a $1 charge OR for Waldoch Farm merchandise certificates. NO cash refunds.
